Brand Identity
— LCID™
LCID™ is the design studio of Luca Corvatta, an Italian designer specialising in industrial design, furniture, and consumer products.
I was responsible for creating the LCID® brand from the ground up, developing a Minimum Viable Brand tailored to the studio’s time and budget parameters. Guided by a clear set of brand principles, the work established a strong strategic foundation—delivering essential assets to support consistency, clarity, and long-term recognition.
— Project
LCID® is recognised for its curiosity-driven approach and commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality work. The studio focuses on creating products that explore contemporary materiality while maintaining a clear sense of lasting functionality.
Following the development of a refined brand position and narrative, I designed a Minimum Viable Brand toolkit to establish a cohesive visual identity. The system includes a simple wordmark, a color palette inspired by raw materials, versatile typography, and detailed guidelines for layout, communication, and digital assets. The palette—composed of natural and neutral tones—supports both clarity and character, while an abstract symbol built from Luca’s initials (LC + ID) subtly reinforces the studio’s industrial design focus. Together, these elements provide a flexible and expressive framework that reflects LCID®’s design ethos and supports the storytelling of its process and practice.
